The Shima Enaga team believes that Decentralized Finance (DeFi) is an essential part of creating a future where individuals are in complete control of their own finances. However, DeFi in its current state is not a safe place for most due to the lack of knowledge possessed by the average investor. The Shima Enaga Ecosystem exists to promote the mass adoption of DeFi by unifying legitimate crypto communities and providing fundamental education to investors.

The Shima Ecosystem consists of two main elements: The Shima Enaga Academy and the $SHIMA token. The $SHIMA token exists as the primary way to invest into the Ecosystem and also directly support the Shima Academy through a percentage of the buy/sell tax. We also offer staking and have a fun crypto prediction game called ShimaRanks.
The Shima Academy
In addition to being a core value, SHIMA’s primary utility is education. To accomplish the mission and vision of the Shima Enaga Ecosystem, the team is creating the Shima Academy to facilitate educational events in a diverse array of venues, and to be the central hub of the community. This academy will primarily exist in the metaverse, but it won’t leave the real world behind.

The Shima Enaga NFT collection represents unity and equality in all races, religions, and nationalities – much like DeFi itself. Featuring clothing, items, and backgrounds from all over the globe, each ShimaNFT is as unique as the Shima community itself! The Shima Enaga team not only wants to educate investors, but also to provide tools for them to put education into action with – such as staking. In order to reward those that invest long-term, staking has been implemented to provide passive income to holders.

How to Bridge to Cronos and buy SHIMA
How to Buy SHIMA on Cronos
Step 1: Head to: https://cronosmm.finance/swap?outputCurrency=0x077371Fa3246da36c1e4694bD9811Cc052848ac7 and connect your wallet. Make sure your wallet is on Cronos.
Step 2: Import SHIMA. A pop up should appear asking you to check the warning box. If this does not appear you can manually add the token. Ask in the community if you need help!
Step 3: Make sure the ‘From’ is set to either ‘CRO’ or ‘USDC’ and the ‘To’ is set to ‘SHIMA’.
Step 4: Tap the gear icon and change slippage tolerance to 10% or 11% in settings.
Step 5: Enter the amount of CRO or USDC that you’d like to swap.
Step 6: Hit swap and then confirm the transaction in your wallet. Congratulations! You are now a SHIMA holder!
How to Bridge Non-Cronos Tokens Directly to SHIMA:
Step 1: Go to xy.finance and click the “Connect to a Wallet” button.
Step 2: Choose the token you want to swap on your source chain and ensure Cronos – SHIMA is selected as the token to receive.
Step 3: Click the gear icon and set slippage to 10%.
Step 4: Enter the amount of the selected currency you wish to swap.
Step 5: Double check the recipient address is correct. The system will display your connected wallet address by default.
Step 6: Click the “Approve to Swap” button, and your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.
Step 7: Click the “ Swap” button, and your wallet will ask you to confirm the action again. Please confirm it too.
